CLASSES OF MUSIC- KINETIC EDUCATION THROUGH PERCUSSIONS
It is a coordinated percussions system, a music- kinetic learning process and rhythmology, parts of which you will find in the music language all over the world being suitable for all ages. One of the main goals is the creation of an actual band. Tia Nicia Riba D'Avila was trained on the system at the organized Brazilian schools( Padre Migel school) and passed on her knowledge to Ravy Magnifique, an instructor and musician. He then adjusted the system to schools in France. Vasilis Liosis visited Ravy in Paris at 1998 and has been using the same system ever since adjusted to Greek schools. Teaching the percussions class consists of three sections:
A. Music – Kinetics, Relation between rhythm, speech and movement
The effort to reproduce rhythm and melodies in words helps each one of us to memorize all these rhythmical elements that comprise music. Combined with the body movement in the TEMPO they give us the feel we need to learn music. Instrument techniques and their practical use
Through a very imaginative way we learn the three basic techniques of the musical instruments with their respective musical phraseology and in that way we learn not to forget and practice each respective rhythm even without the existence of the instrument. After students are taught the three basic rhythms, they take a specific place in the band with the instrument. This band shall learn two different BREAKS. These are the rhythmical intros before the main rhythm, “bridges" for other rhythms, questions and answers of the dynamics of the tempo (highs and lows). The preparation for the main rhythm (Samba), that everybody plays together is rich in rhythmical elements. Holding a well-structured concert on a group level
Everything is created out of the group's movement. By learning different dance moves with respect to speech and rhythm of the instruments we reach the main target. Our target is to hold a concert of the specific group or to combine more groups and thus give the student the experience to express himself musically in front of the audience.
* The performance is possible to become through after 6 to 9 hours of lessons
* The supply of the instruments is ours
* The number of people who can take part of the lessons is from 5 to 150 persons
