Exciting opportunity for a fellow in Breast Reconstruction in our Unit .
Mid Yorkshire Teaching Hospitals Plastic Surgery department is a team of 14 Consultants 9 Registrars 11 SHOs home to Regional Burns Centre. Main Hospital is Pinderfields in Wakefield 15 minutes away from Leeds City Centre.
We have a dynamic Breast Reconstruction Service with 2-3 all day lists per week performing DIEP flaps along with implant based reconstruction and LDs. We work closely with our Breast Cancer Service within a Oncoplastic MDT.
The microsurgery service acts as a centre seeing patients from Barnsley and Doncaster as well.
There is a Microsurgery Simulation training facility for trainees.
Recent addition of a 3d microscope and ICG camera has allowed us to improve training and outcomes.
