The IT Society of DEREE prides itself on representing the first ever purely technical discipline to be taught at DEREE, focusing on technologies of now and tomorrow. The Information Technology degree has three main pathways, out of which students may choose to explore knowledge relevant to such fields as: Software Development, Networks and Telecommunications, Digital Media Technologies. Often time

s, students choose to register for extra courses through 2 of the pathways, combining knowledge in a cross-functional manner. Minors in Management Information Systems are also a common option of parallel study, for those students seeking the Business IT opportunities in their lives.
