Στις 23 Αυγούστου το Μουσείο της Ελληνικής Συλλογής Νόμπελ υποδέχθηκε τον παγκοσμίου φήμης και αποδοχής Ρώσο Ακαδημαϊκό Φυσικό Zhores Ivanovich Alferov, Βραβείο Λένιν (1972) και Βραβείο Νόμπελ (2000). Σήμερα όλοι τον αναγνωρίζουν σαν τον πατέρα της σύγχρονης φυσικής και της Νανοτεχνολογίας. O κ. Alferov έδωσε μία συνέντευξη τύπου σε Έλληνες και ξένους δημοσιογράφους για περίπου δύο ώρες, εξηγώντας τις σχέσεις Φυσικής-Χημείας, τις μοναδικές ανακαλύψεις του στο χώρο των δορυφορικών επικοινωνιών, της μικροηλεκτρονικής, της νανοτεχνολογίας και φυσικά της κινητής τηλεφωνίας, των SMS, των DVD και πολλών ανακαλύψεών του. Δήλωσε, επίσης, ότι περιμένει τους μαθητές του Αρσακείου Ψυχικού στην Αγία Πετρούπολη για να τους εισαγάγει στην επιστήμη της νανοτεχνολογίας. Για τον Ακαδημαϊκό και τους συνεργάτες του στην Ρώσικη Ακαδημία των Επιστημών, όπως μας είπε, ξεκινάει μία περίοδος συνεργασίας με την Ελλάδα.
The Museum of the Hellenic Nobel Collection greeted on the 23rd August the universally known and acceptable Russian Academician and Physicist Zhores Ivanovich Alferov, Lenin Prize (1972) and Nobel Prize (2000). Today all recognize him as the father of modern physics and nano-technology. Sir Alferov spoke to Greeks and foreign journalists for two hours about the relations between physics and chemistry, his unique discoveries on the field of satellite communication, micro-electronics, nano-technology, and of course mobile telephony, SMS, DVD and many of his discoveries. He also declared that he waits the students of Arsakio School of Psichiko to visit him in Saint Petersburg in order to introduce them in the science of nano-technology. For both the Academician and his cooperators, a new era of cooperation with Greece begins.
