📢ΕΝΗΜΕΡΩΣΗ ΓΙΑ ΤΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ CIRCLE στο περίπτερο του ΕΑΠ στη Διεθνή Έκθεση Θεσσαλονίκης

Την Κυριακή 13 Σεπτεμβρίου, ώρα 12.00 στο περίπτερο του ΕΑΠ στη Διεθνή Έκθεση Θεσσαλονίκης (Περίπτερο 17 Academia, Stand 39A) θα γίνει εκδήλωση για τα 25 χρόνια της Εκπαίδευσης Ενηλίκων στο ΕΑΠ. Στο πλαίσιο της εκδήλωσης μπορείτε να ενημερωθείτε για το Ευρωπαϊκό Πρόγραμμα CIRCLE (Cooperation and Innovation for Resilient Creative LΕarning).

Συντονιστής φορέας του Προγράμματος είναι η Επιστημονική Ένωση Εκπαίδευσης Ενηλίκων-Ε.Ε.Ε.Ε., που ορίστηκε από το Υπουργείο Παιδείας και την Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή ως ο Εθνικός Συντονιστής της Εκπαίδευσης Ενηλίκων στην Ελλάδα για την περίοδο 2026-2027.

Στο περίπτερο του ΕΑΠ θα είναι επίσης διαθέσιμο σε όλη τη διάρκεια της έκθεσης ενημερωτικό φυλλάδιο για το Πρόγραμμα.

How can AI support labour market policies while remaining fair, transparent and human-centred?

Through two complementary Ethics Workshops, the EU-ALMPO consortium explored how ethical principles and governance requirements can be embedded throughout the full AI lifecycle—from initial design and data selection to deployment, monitoring and evaluation.

Led by Dr Tomasz Hollanek from the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence at the University of Cambridge, the workshops combined theory with practical exercises focused directly on the EU-ALMPO tools.

Participants examined:

✔️ AI ethics, governance and the EU AI Act
✔️ fairness, transparency and human oversight
✔️ inclusive and intersectional system design
✔️ Data Justice and responsible data governance
✔️ meaningful stakeholder participation
✔️ intended and unintended consequences of AI-supported decisions

Using the EU-ALMPO AI-powered CV Recommendation Tool as a case study, the consortium reflected on potential benefits, risks and safeguards for employment advisers, jobseekers, policymakers and other affected groups.

For EU-ALMPO, ethics is not a checklist or a final compliance step. It is an ongoing responsibility shaping how AI systems are designed, governed and used.

🚀 Building skills for the future with COOPSKILLS

Learning new skills is most useful when people can see how to apply them in real working life.

This is what we are working towards in COOPSKILLS. The project partners are developing learning resources that combine practical training, individual support and learning through real-life situations.

📚 Training will focus on technical, digital, green and employability skills that learners can use in the workplace.

🤝 Mentoring will support learners in understanding what they already know, what they would like to improve and what their next steps could be.

🎮 Gamification will make learning more interactive by introducing workplace situations where learners can make choices, see different outcomes and put their new knowledge into practice.

The materials will be adapted to the sectors and local needs of the COOPSKILLS Reskilling Labs, so that the learning experience is relevant to the people and communities involved.
