Τις τελευταίες τρεις ημέρες, το Πρόγραμμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών στη Διοίκηση Ανθρώπινου Δυναμικού του Οικονομικό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών βρέθηκε στις Αναργύρειος και Κοργιαλένειος Σχολή Σπετσών για το HR Skills Development Summer Workshop.
Η εμπειρία είχε έντονα βιωματικό και διεθνή χαρακτήρα, μέσα από τη συνεργασία με το Penn State School of Labor and Employment Relations, προσφέροντας στους φοιτητές και τις φοιτήτριες μια μοναδική ευκαιρία ανταλλαγής ιδεών και πρακτικών γύρω από τη Διοίκηση Ανθρώπινου Δυναμικού σε διεθνές περιβάλλον.
Η συμβολή του καθηγητή Mark Gough υπήρξε ιδιαίτερα σημαντική, καθώς εξήγησε με σαφήνεια την έννοια του employment at will, δηλαδή την αρχή σύμφωνα με την οποία η εργασιακή σχέση στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες μπορεί να τερματιστεί από τον εργοδότη οποιαδήποτε στιγμή, χωρίς αιτιολόγηση.
Επίσης, οι φοιτητές και οι φοιτήτριες μας συμμετείχαν σε ένα βιωματικό workshop με τον Κώστα Σηματο και έγιναν μια ορχήστρα παίζοντας διαφορετικά μουσικά όργανα κατανοώντας όμως τον κοινό στόχο.
Over the past three days, the Graduate Program in Human Resources Management of the Athens University of Economics and Business was at the Anargyreios and Korgialenios School of Spetses for the HR Skills Development Summer Workshop.
The experience was intensely experiential and international in nature, through the collaboration with the School of Labor and Employment Relations, offering students a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and practices regarding Human Resources Management in an international environment.
The contribution of Professor Mark Gough was particularly important, as he clearly explained the concept of employment at will, i.e. the principle according to which the employment relationship in the United States can be terminated by the employer at any time, without justification.
Also, our students participated in an experiential workshop with Kostas Simatos and became an orchestra, playing different musical instruments but understanding the common goal.
