Twendedanceproject ...where the African Dance meets the Classical Ballet... Twende Dance Project is a contemporary dance centre, founded by Alexandra Katsarou and Sammy Gian.

A friendly and vibrant space, where the classical ballet and the African dance, so different at the first sight but so deeply connected, meet each other and create something new and worthwhile to experience. We provide a meeting point for people of all ages, professionals and aspiring dancers, to come along and follow their passion for dancing, expressing themselves, socializing, exchanging ideas

and getting new skills. In Twende Dance Project we empower our students through a built-up academic program and we give them the wings for powerful, explosive performances. We embrace them to dance "out of the box", to reach their limits, to achieve their goals and go even further.

Το Twende Dance Project είναι ένα σύγχρονο κέντρο χορού, το οποίο ιδρύθηκε από την Αλεξάνδρα Κατσαρού και τον Sammy Gian. Ένας χώρος φιλικός και γεμάτος ενέργεια, όπου το κλασικό μπαλέτο και ο Αφρικανικός χορός, τόσο διαφορετικά είδη εκ πρώτης όψεως αλλά και τόσο βαθιά συνδεδεμένα μεταξύ τους, συναντώνται και δημιουργούν κάτι νέο που αξίζει να ζήσεις.
Παρέχουμε ένα σημείο συνάντησης για ανθρώπους όλων των ηλικιών, επαγγελματίες και ερασιτέχνες, όπου μπορούν να ακολουθήσουν το πάθος τους για το χορό, να εκφραστούν, να έρθουν σε επαφή με νέους ανθρώπους και ιδέες, να διευρύνουν τις ικανότητές τους.
Δίνουμε ακαδημαϊκή εκπαίδευση στους μαθητές μας μέσω ενός προοδευτικού προγράμματος και φτερά για δυναμικές, εκρηκτικές παραστάσεις. Τους ενθαρρύνουμε να χορέψουν χωρίς περιορισμούς, να ξεπεράσουν τα όριά τους, να επιτύχουν τους στόχους τους και να προχωρήσουν ακόμα περισσότερο.
