🎥 Institute's interns Annika and Ulla-Maija made a video about their shared internship experience. Together the interns have accomplished many achievements, experienced busy days, and made trips during their spare time. During their internship, Annika and Ulla-Maija have learned new things and met numerous cats. After work, they have always encountered at least one local cat friend who has kept an eye on everything and demanded pets. 😸

“Questions Arising from the Aristotelian Zoology” -työpaja järjestettiin Instituutilla 23.-24.3.

'Questions Arising from the Aristotelian Zoology' workshop was held at the Institute on March 23–24. The event brought together an international group of philosophers and classical philologists. The programme included presentations on Aristotle’s zoological thought and ongoing translation of the four foundational zoological treatises into Finnish. Members of the research project also did an excursion to the island of Le**os related to the workshop and visited Aristotle’s Lyceum and Plato’s Academy in Athens guided by the Institute’s assistant director Lassi Jakola.

We would like to thank the Kone Foundation as well as the organizers and participants!
