Headquartered in Thessaloniki, SEleNe CC is one of the five Regional Coordination Centers (RCCs) across Europe and plays a pivotal role in supporting power Transmission System Operators (TSOs). Our dedicated team provides integrated services to ensure the operational security of networks across Southeast Europe (SEE).

Job Description
Do you enjoy working with complex systems that help keep the lights on across Europe? Join our Operational Business Department and play a key role in ensuring the operational security and reliability of the European power grid.
In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for the daily operational processes related to Coordinated Security Analysis (CSA), including shift-based activities that ensure the continuous and reliable operation of our services.
Beyond your shift duties, your main focus will be to support and contribute to regional security analysis and related pan-European activities, in which SEleNe CC is involved.
You will work closely with engineers, TSOs and other RCC colleagues to monitor and analyze security assessment results, investigate and resolve data quality issues, and support the smooth ex*****on of operational processes. While the role involves power systems and data, it is equally about stakeholder interactions, coordination and ensuring effective and timely communication.

Key responsibilities
Develop a strong understanding of the regulations, methodologies and processes related to regional and cross-regional security analysis.
Contribute to regional and pan-European working groups and activities aimed at the continuous development and evolution of security analysis.
Perform power flow investigations related to security analysis using both in-house tools and commercial software.
Maintain regular communication with TSOs and support the identification and resolution of operational issues related to security analysis activities.
Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Operational Business Department to identify, propose and implement solutions that improve the efficiency, reliability and effectiveness of security analysis operational processes.
Participate in operational shifts (carried out 365 days, morning/evening) as part of the role.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or relevant;
At least 3 years of professional experience;
Strong communication skills, with the ability to identify and disseminate relevant information to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner;
Ability to work effectively in technically complex environments involving power system analysis and security assessment with strong analytical skills;
Experience working with TSOs, DSOs, RCCs or energy utilities is a strong asset;
Good organizational and coordination skills;
Fluent in English (written and spoken). The official working language of SEleNe-CC is English.
