Traditional, teacher-centered methods often pose challenges for the successful engagement of the learners, and even more so for integrating students from disadvantaged or multicultural backgrounds. The European teacher academy for creative and inclusive learning ACADIMIA addresses this by unlocking 10 original creative teaching methodologies spanning elements of Drama in Education, Socratic dialectic, Gamification, Creative technologies, Creative STEAM, Maker teaching, Montessori principles and Strength based learning.

This conference brings together practitioners who have championed these methods across our eight project countries to share their experiences, classroom impacts, and insights.

"Ήθελα να σας ευχαριστήσω για τα μαθήματα που κάνατε μαζί μας -και ήθελα να σας πω τι απάντησα στον σύζυγο μου όταν με ρώτησε "άξιζαν τον κόπο τα μαθήματα;"


1) τα μαθήματα μού έδωσαν έναν τροπο να μάθαινω όλη την ύλη των θεμάτων με λογικό και συστηματικό τροπο.
2) έμαθα αλλά πράγματα που δεν πιστεύω θα είχα μάθει, αν είχα διαβάσει μόνη μου.
3) μου άρεσε πολύ να ήμουν σε μια ομάδα μαθητών και είχα την ευκαιρία να μοιραστούμε τις γνώσεις μας ο ένας με τον άλλον.
4) Μου άρεσε πολύ που άκουσα πολύ καθαρά ελληνικά και πολύ καθαρή εξήγηση από τους δυο σας και εκτίμησα πραγματικά τα επιπλέον μαθήματα γραμματικής.

Τελικά , τώρα που τελειώσαμε μπορώ να πω με ελικρίνεια ότι θα μου λείψετε και οι δυο σας και τα μαθήματα!!!!

Η διαλεκτική μέθοδος έχει καθιερωθεί από τον Σωκράτη και αφορά τη διατύπωση κριτικών ερωτημάτων με σκοπό την υπογράμμιση των κοινωνικών αντιφάσεων. This week is the last week of our webinars.
The last method that is going to be presented is the EAR method, a method which combines Socratic Dialectics and Theatre in order to discuss issues related with citizenship education (and social issues in general). The EAR Methodology is based on a simple series of activities, which have a common goal: to change attitudes and behaviours and develop active citizenship in students. The dialectical method has been established by Socrates and it is about posing critical questions in order to underline the social contradictions. The webinar is facilitated by Ifigeneia Georgiadou, language teacher and collaborator of Action Synergy.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve completed the focus group sessions as part of our Greek Lingo Box needs assessment, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme (KA2). Student's insights will guide us in crafting inclusive, practical, and culturally aware materials.

Educational games emerged as a standout method for learning Greek: engaging, low-pressure, and fun.

Learners told us that games help them remember new concepts, boost their confidence, and keep them motivated.

Building on these findings, our next step is to develop teaching resources specifically for migrants and refugees. These materials will feature a variety of language games designed to:
👉🏼 Respect and incorporate learners’ cultural backgrounds
👉🏼 Address psychological needs (e.g., for those recently arrived from conflict zones)
👉🏼 Be accessible to all, including learners with limited or no prior literacy skills

Playful, inclusive, and hands-on language learning is coming your way!

For tourists, learning the local culture of the places they visit is a unique opportunity to have a more complete and meaningful travel experience. Understanding the traditions, customs, and history of the area can help to enrich their knowledge of the territory and offers a deeper perspective on its authenticity.
For this reason, the VIP project (Villages for Preservation) comes to offer to Adults over 40 years old from rural villages of touristic areas free English online language, with the aim of helping them to achieve a more effective communication with tourist and to share with them their Local Cultural Heritage.
The project is funded by the European Commission and is under the aegis of the Municipality of Thera-Santorini island
