Get to know more about your rights in the European Union!🇪🇺

One of the most important documents for the safeguarding of human rights within the European Union is the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.

The Charter lays down the fundamental rights that are mandatory upon EU institutions and bodies. It also applies to national governments when they are implementing EU law.

The European Union holds the Human Rights at a verz high positon in its priorities and their respect as one of its main values and pillars of progress and evolution.

There are two main directions regarding the human rights policy and action within the European Union. One is to protect the fundamental human rights for EU citizens, and the other is to promote human rights worldwide.

EU policy includes:

👉promoting the rights of women, children, minorities and displaced persons
👉opposing the death penalty, torture, human trafficking and discrimination
👉defending civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights
👉defending human rights through active partnership with partner countries, international and regional organisations, and groups and associations at all levels of society
👉inclusion of human rights clauses in all agreements on trade or cooperation with non-EU countries

Excited to host the Multiplier Event of the project in Athens @ Gazi View - Social Rooftop with the participation of young Europeans, representatives of the local authorities, Teachers and stakeholders in the field of school education from the Ινστιτούτο Έρευνας & Κατάρτισης Ευρωπαϊκών Θεμάτων

The multiplier event of the European School Brussels III has taken place on the 25th of November with great success!
Students who participated in the Erasmus+ project " VR in School Education and Civic Participation" have had the possibility to share with their fellow students the knowledge that they have aquired through their partication in the programme and to enjoy the virtual reality simulation of the European Parliament.

Με τη φράση αυτή ενθάρρυναν οι Εκπαιδευτικοί του Λυκείου Αραδίππου, Εταίρος του έργου, την ενεργό συμμετοχή των μαθητών τους σε ευρωπαϊκά προγράμματα.

Την Παρασκευή 19/11/2021, διοργανώθηκε με επιτυχία το Multiplier Event στο πλαίσιο του έργου.

On the third day of the Short-Term Joint Staff Training Event of the VR in School Education & Civic Participation, the teachers, from the participating schools, had the chance to experience VR game created on the grounds of the project.

Adding to that they had the opportunity to evaluate and review the Intellectual Output 4 which is a manual on how to operate and use the VR app created for the project l.

The Short-Term Joint Staff Training Event aims to gather the teachers of the schools participating in the project and inform them on the produced results of the Intellectual Outputs, developed for the project, and the ways they can apply those results to their schools, for the benefit of their pupils.

The Short-Term Joint Staff Training Event, takes place in Athens, at the offices of I.R.T.E.A following all the rules and guidelines against the spreading of Covid-19.

On the second day of the Short-Term Joint Staff Training Event of the VR in School Education & Civic Participation, the teachers, from the participating schools, had the chance to review the Intellectual Output 2, which is a series of MOOC courses created on the grounds of the project and hosted on the Cerebrum platform.

The Short-Term Joint Staff Training Event aims to gather the teachers of the schools participating in the project and inform them on the produced results of the Intellectual Outputs, developed for the project, and the ways they can apply those results to their schools, for the benefit of their pupils.

The Short-Term Joint Staff Training Event, takes place in Athens, at the offices of I.R.T.E.A following all the rules and guidelines against the spreading of Covid-19.
