Heritage Greece @ CYA brought students back to their roots! 🇬🇷

The 2026 Heritage Greece Program just concluded, offering North American students of Hellenic descent and philhellenes a transformative 12-day journey through ancient and modern Greece. Generously funded by the National Hellenic Society, participants explored iconic sites like Athens, Delphi, and the Aegean Islands while reconnecting with their ancestry, language, and culture.

This summer, among many destinations, students visited Cape Sounion, Apivita, and the Hellenic Parliament, where they had a private meeting with Mrs. Maira Myrogianni, Secretary General of Hellenism Abroad and Public Diplomacy.

This immersive experience strengthened Greek identity and empowered the next generation to carry forward the enduring legacy of Hellenism.

Our “The Geography of Faith: Paul and the Emergence of Christianity in Greece” summer course traces the evolution of religion throughout the ancient Greco-Roman world.

Visiting Meteora’s monasteries and other sacred sites, students explore how early Christianity spread to cities like Philippi, Thessaloniki, and Corinth, transforming an empire!
