🌍 Thessaloniki International Fair 2026
Yesterday, 9 September, the Development Unit (SDU.AE4RIA) of ATHENA Research Center participated in the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), Pavilion 7, presenting our work on stakeholder co-creation, sustainability performance and science-based pathways towards a sustainable future.
🔹 Dr Lydia Papadaki presented “Living Labs & ESG: From Participatory Co-Creation to Measuring Sustainability Performance.” She demonstrated how Living Labs and participatory co-creation can bring together researchers, businesses, policymakers, public authorities and communities, integrating stakeholder knowledge, preferences and visions into ESG frameworks and measurable sustainability performance.
🔹 Ioannis Arampatzidis presented “SDSN Global Climate Hub: Exploring Pathways Towards a Sustainable Future.” He showcased the work of the SDSN Global Climate Hub, coordinated by AE4RIA, and our integrated approach to developing transformation pathways across interconnected systems including energy, climate, land, water, biodiversity, transport and the economy.
The two presentations highlighted a core principle of our team’s approach: bringing science to people and bringing people into science, through co-designed solutions that can be translated into measurable, implementable and investable sustainability pathways.
