Four pelvic approaches taught and practised on cadaveric specimens in a single afternoon. The first Athens Trauma Course at ATTC is sold out.

Day one moves from decision-making (pelvic ring injuries, acetabular fractures, Judet-Letournel classification, anterior versus posterior stabilization) straight into the cadaver lab. You rotate through the ilioinguinal, Stoppa with p***c symphysis and Kocher-Langenbeck approaches, then external fixation and plate fixation techniques.

Day two spans five distal tibia and ankle techniques, a live ankle arthrodesis with IMN on cadaveric bone, then proximal tibia and femur in the second rotation.

International Faculty: Peter Giannoudis and Nikolaos Kanakaris, Hans Christopher Pape, Emmanouil Liodakis, alongside Greek instructors.
Course Directors K. Kateros and S. Papadakis. 5 and 6 September 2026 at ATTC in Maroussi.

On the Virtual Reality Simulation Programme, each trainee works through an individual account on the Lap Mentor III platform, with progress recorded and overseen by the trainer. Practice is unattended once induction is complete, with the option of targeted sessions when specific difficulties arise. Completion is confirmed through a final assessment and a certificate.
