The dad called us this morning and shared this sad news with us.

A Triumph of Courage and Determination

In a world where many children learn in comfort, our students have proven that true success is not born from privilege but from perseverance.

We celebrate our 2025 candidates who sat for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and brought pride to our school. Their courage to face challenges, despite learning under some of the hardest conditions, stands as a living reminder that determination can outshine difficulty.

Among them shines a young girl, Feremusu Kamara, who came first in the school. Her achievement reminds us that when a girl is educated, an entire community is lifted.

To our teachers who give their hearts to the classroom, to our parents who keep believing, and to our students who never give up, thank you. You have turned hardship into victory and hope into history.

And to those who did not pass this time, please hold your heads high. Not passing this time does not define you, courage does.

Some of the greatest people in history once failed too. Albert Einstein struggled in school and failed early exams. Thomas Edison was told he was “too slow to learn.” Winston Churchill failed several subjects, and Abraham Lincoln lost more elections than he won, yet they all went on to change the world.

What made them great was not perfection but perseverance. You have that same fire within you. Learn from this, rise again, and keep going. Your story is not over. It is just beginning.

The First debate between the old and new students was held on Friday the 31st October, 2025 from 10:25 to 13: 25 in two categories.
The new student boys secured 137 points while the old student boys got 130 points. The old student girls secured 185 points over the new student girls with 137 points.
