Hello everyone.
Today we are going to talk about a subject.
A subject is the party of a sentence that does something or is talked about.
The subject can be a noun, a pronoun,or an infinitive phase.
A clause may also function as a noun.

Example: wolves howl .(noun)
They howl for different reasons.(pronoun)
To establish their turf maybe one reason.(noun clause).

Delayed subject.
In the sentences that begin with there followed by a from of the BE verb . the subject come after the verb . the subject is also often delayed in questions.

There was a strange coat in my locker.
The subject is COAT; the verb is was.
Where are my gloves?
The subject is gloves; the verb is are.
