For the first time after many years we will not be having the Camp Africa event this year. We are restructuring the organisation to be able to look at wider participation especially from other African countries. We will keep everyone posted when we have new programmes for 2017. We are planning to do a 10 days event in January in various subject areas. Check out this page for more information!

Known as The Tree of Life, the baobab is an icon of the African savannah; a symbol of life & positivity in a landscape where little thrives. Unbeknown to the world, it produces a nutrient-dense fruit with the potential to transform millions of lives. There's no such thing as a baobab plantation; every tree is community-owned and wild. 10m households can supply this fruit from a crop that is so abundant it goes mainly to waste. National Geographic estimated that if there were a global demand for baobab, this existing crop could be worth $1bn to rural Africa. The only problem is that 95% of people have never heard of it...
