There is one new online transportation service in the Gambia like Uber called 1bena. It is a great innovation in the field of transport. 1bena offers a service which gives everyone the possibility to order a taxi online from different places and to take everyone anywhere safe.
All drivers have been trained and registered with the company.
Customers can simply download the App on their smartphones and start using the service.

But there are many talented young men and women in The Gambia who have not had the opportunity to learn skills - because of different reasons: background of poverty, lack of school money, lack of training places... The search for a better life in Europoean countries

YOUTHS AND SKILLS.............
The development of every nation depends on the skillfullness of its youth folks. This being the case, the government of the day should invest in skills acquisition for the youths with the right intent and not for political reasons. This will create an atmosphere of self believe and self dependence...
I am always heartbroken when I see the youths of this nation wallow in limbo cuz there is no opportunity and no option. I ask myself if this is the next generation of leaders we are neglecting, incarcerating, turning them into harden criminal?
The crimes in the country can be minimised or even eradicated if the government provides them with the hope of a better life and better tomorrow.
I am neither trying to support the burglary menace presently holding our nation hostage due to the curfew nor am I condoning the idea of stabbing and robbing people off their properties but the absolute fact is, A HUNGRY MAN IS AN ANGRY MAN...
The lack of investment in our youths is responsible for the lots of deaths in the Mediterranean sea trying to make it to European shores, the downfall of sporting activities in the country and now the high rate of crimes. The list goes on as its a chain work, one problem being responsible for the other...
We are bound to be DOOMED as a nation if we fail to invest in the YOUTHS today for a better future.
