Promoting Health Through Nutrition!
Yesterday at Margaret’s Nurse Education Center, our talented class of student Nurse Attendants participated in a special Cooking Demonstration organized under the guidance of NaNA (National Nutrition Agency). As a partial fulfillment of their program.
The aim of this cooking demonstration is to equip students with the knowledge and skills to prepare nutritious, affordable, culturally appropriate and locally available meals for people with special dietary needs.
They confidently prepared dishes tailored for:
✅ Pregnant women – for a healthy pregnancy
✅ Hypertensive & diabetic patients – low-sodium, low-sugar meals
✅ Malnourished children – energy rich and balanced diets
It was more than just cooking it was about learning, sharing, and caring.
We’re incredibly proud of these young future health advocates who understand that food is medicine.
