Last week, one of the members of the association when to Serekunda Lower Basic School (both Annex and Proper) to present school bags, pack of exercise books, textbooks of different subjects, and lunch money to the 5 pupils identified in February 2020 under the "Support a needy child" project.
Unfortunately, 2 of the 5 pupils are no longer at the school. And thus, have been replaced by 2 other pupils who are greatly in need of support to continue their education.

On February 10th, 2020, the Ex-Students officially launched a project called "Support a needy child" at Serekunda Lower Basic School (both Annex and Proper). We kick start the project with 5 students, 2 at Serekunda Annex Lower Basic School and 3 at Serekunda (Proper) Lower Basic School. The selected students were selected base on the financial background of their parent(s)/guardian(s). The selected students are from financially disadvantaged households.
All the selected students are provided with uniforms, bags, a pair of shoes, set boxes, books, and pencils. Additionally, we are providing these 5 students with lunch money of D10 per day (from Monday to Saturday) until the end of the academic year. And we are also going to be paying for their study fees (In Shaa Allah) and also the summer classes to be held in August 2020. We intend to support these kids until they complete grade 6 (In Shaa Allah).

Hello everyone, this is a group of formers students of Serekunda Primary School. The page promotes the participation of Serekunda Primary Ex-students in the socio-economic development of Serekunda Lower Basic School, its students and its surrounding.
And also to promote understanding, unity, and cooperation amongst us and the staff and students at the school.
