Earlier today, 25th May 2026, LK Sabaji Chinese Corner joined their Nusrat counterparts in celebrating Chinese Language Day. The event mirrored an earlier celebration held at the Law Faculty by the Confucius Institute at UTG.

The celebration featured gifts of bags, books, T-shirts, and pencils from the embassy. Students delivered poetry and singing performances in Chinese, and LK Sabaji presented a poetry song, as shown in the video. Students also took part in a Chinese cultural exhibition that included calligraphy, paper cutting, and tea tasting.

The event was attended by the Director of the Confucius Institute, Prof. Yang; Chinese tutor Mr. Song; the Political Director of the Embassy; and other embassy diplomats.

In recognition of their commitment and dedication to service, the Technical Department presented Certificates of Appreciation to Ramatoulie Jallow and Adama Ceesay of USET.

The two completed their two-month teaching practice at the school and are now returning to their institution.

The certificates were presented to the duo by a veteran teacher, Mr. Sonko on behalf of the head of the department during a ceremony held on the school grounds.

The head of the technical department, Mr. Filikoi Dampha, thanked the duo and expressed gratitude for their commitment and support throughout the placement period.

As per the results, Muhammed Danso of 11S2 has been duly elected as head boy for the 2026- 2027 academic year.

After the official announcement by the chairperson of the selection committee, the students electrified the space with strong jubilation.

Following a week of campaign, convention, and class-by-class voting, the process concluded peacefully with strong participation from students across all classes.
