KESA: SPECIAL REGARDS TO OMAR 'MAGNA' CHAM

KESA is thrilled to extend its commendation for the triumphant accolade of Mr Omar Cham, Finance Director of Kuntaya Ex-Students' Association for bagging a Bachelors of Science in Economics( Magna Cum Laude) from the University of the Gambia.

This is a clear manifestation of the many strides that the alumnus of KESA have been doing at national and international fronts. Thus, Omar's academic triumph dated back in 2019 as he grabbed the best result at WAEC for WASSCE in that year.

Conclusively, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr Cham for this worthwhile adventure and wishes to offer our stance on replicating this feat all of his endeavors.

On Saturday, May 27th 2023, our able President, H.E Sey had launch his debut book dubbed "The Scorpion.

We are incredibly honored by the bold step of Mr Sey as the first contemporary alumni of Kuntaya Basic Cycle School to take this giant stride. Also, we enjoin Mr President to continue on the massive stride in impacting with more publications on the future.

We are glad to unveil and invite you to the launching of the anthology entitled “The Scorpion” by Momodou Sey alias “Tha WordCraft”.

The Scorpion, a collection of poems written to represent the voice of love, nature, politics, activism, religion, and gender, will be launched as scheduled below:

KESA: CONDUCTION OF CAPACITY-BUILDING TRAINING

Earlier on Yesterday, the Executive Board of KESA in conjunction with its membership of the Association staged a thought-provoking and worth-emulating training at Kuntaya Basic Cycle School.

The training which was aimed at capacitating the staff and pupils of the school, together with the membership of the Association on Ethical Leadership, Public Speaking and Writing. Moreso, KESA encourage all participants who were trained today to be responsive to the knowledge learnt.

Expectedly, the Executive Board, albeit associating for Quality and Standard, certified all participants who turn-out for this monumental training.

Ergo, the leadership of the Association, in its resolute commitment and visionary affirmation, wishes to reiterate its unflinching efforts towards maintaining the agenda of the Association.

Ahead of the much-awaited Capacity Building Training. KESA wish to unveil its highly-honored resource persons.

*Mr Momodou Sey*, a young writer and the President of the Association is tipped to take the Writing Session. While *Mr Siman Lowe*, an award-winning Public Speaker and the Executive Director of The Ultimate Mentorship Association shall take on the Public Speaking Session. And *Mr Mamud Khan*, a Youth Leader and the Chairperson of Kuntaya Village Development Committee shall man the Ethical Leadership Session.

While we assure a fruitful and worthwhile training, KESA proudly and loudly wish to be affirmative on delivering beyond expectations.

Join us to congratulate our President Sey on this massive achievement. This is not surprise to us as H.E Momodou Sey has made the school of Kuntaya Basic Cycle School and Community of Jokadou proud in 2015 by winning the National Essay Championship, where he was the then Head-boy.

At the instance of KESA, We are delighted to this visionary young man.

KESA: CALLS FOR INSTRUCTORS FOR SUMMER STUDY CLASSES:

The leadership of Kuntaya Ex-Students' Association is esteemed to notify on a brokered agreement with the management of Kuntaya Basic Cycle School in regard to a month study classes. Which is expected to commence on the 8th-25th of August, 2022. The essence of this; is to supplement the students with the required knowledge to equipped them with both intra and extra academic strengths.

As Such, we cordially implore on the members to volunteer as instructors for this worthy drive. Which at the end, participants shall be certified for there service.

Therein, all application should be directed to the Program Officer, Mr Bai O. Jobe on 3498192; on or before 5th August, 2022.

Whilst we anticipate for a prosperous study classes, we indulge on the co-operation of the membership on this notable yet worthy call.

Which bears me the opportunity as the steering figure manned with the opportunity to charge the administrative dealings of the association for the past year. Where I know; on the imperfection of human nature, I may wrong you either knowingly or unknowingly. And as such, I do indulge in your forgiveness and do ask for your prayers; which I also did.
