The International Open University (IOU) is seeking an experienced and highly capable Quality Assurance Manager to lead and strengthen our institution-wide quality assurance framework.
Reporting to the Vice Chancellor / Director, Teaching & Learning, the Quality Assurance Manager will play a central role in safeguarding academic standards, accreditation compliance, institutional quality, and continuous improvement across the University.
The role will lead and coordinate accreditation and audit processes, programme and curriculum reviews, examinations and timetable governance, quality assurance policies and procedures, institutional data collection and analysis, monitoring and reporting, and continuous quality-improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will also chair the Examinations and Timetable Committee, serve as Secretary to the Ethics and Research Committee, support academic departments in implementing quality assurance measures, and lead training and capacity-building initiatives that strengthen a culture of quality across the University.
We are looking for someone with a Master's degree in Education, Management, or a relevant field, strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools, excellent analytical and organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across academic and administrative functions.
It is demanding, high-responsibility work for someone who takes real pride in rigour, accuracy, and doing things properly.
