The Importance of Hygiene.

Hygiene is essential for maintaining good health and preventing disease. Personal hygiene such as regular handwashing, bathing, brushing teeth, and wearing clean clothes helps prevent infections like malaria, diarrhea, cholera, and skin diseases.

In a school environment, where students interact closely, proper hygiene is especially important to prevent the spread of illness.
Environmental hygiene, including clean classrooms, proper waste disposal, safe drinking water, and well-maintained toilets, creates a safe and supportive learning environment. Good hygiene practices also improve students’ confidence, attendance, concentration, and academic performance. Teaching these habits early promotes lifelong healthy Behavior.

Reason for Inviting Farato Health Centre
The Humanity School of Learning has invited health professionals from Farato Health Centre to educate students and staff on hygiene and general health matters.
The purpose of the visit is to:

• Provide accurate and professional health education
• Raise awareness about disease prevention
• Promote preventive healthcare practices
• Strengthen healthy school standards
• Build partnership between the school and the health sector.

This initiative reflects the school’s commitment to ensuring not only academic excellence but also the health and well-being of its students and staff.

Group work helps students learn better by working together. It teaches teamwork, sharing ideas, and listening to others. Children can help each other understand things more easily. It also makes learning more fun and helps everyone become more confident and responsible.
