ABSA organized a Symposium on Accounting and Business as a profession which was aired by QTV on the 15th November,2018.
The President of AIUWASU gave an opening statement followed by a statement made by a representative from GRA on tax as a tool for the development of The Gambia economy.
Mr Baba Drammeh was also present, a representative from the Auditor General's Office who made a statement on Audit as a profession and it's importance
Mrs Aji Sally a representative from GCCI, and Mr Karafa a representative from Foreign Affairs department of Central Bank
The President of ABSA gave the closing remarks after the Provost of the AIUWA/CMIT made his statement.

ABSA was invited to the Global Entrepreneurship Week Commemoration at Startup Incubator in which 10 students from the Association attended. The theme of the event was "Women, Youth and Inclusion" after which there was a networking event were young entrepreneurs, professionals were present.
GEW is the celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand the human welfare.
It was indeed an interesting event
