Meet the first home-trained Gambian woman to become a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and she’s one of us
CJMA has produced the first home-trained Gambian, and first female, to attain the Fellowship Examinations of the West African College of Surgeons in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
We proudly celebrate our very own alumna, where success is a a tradition and first Head Girl of CJMA for this groundbreaking achievement. From Head Girl to Fellow, she embodies excellence, resilience, and service.
This milestone also reflects the strong foundation laid by our schools. Quality basic education matters. When we invest in girls and give them the right start, there’s no limit to how far they can go. Today we remember the late first school principal Mr. Jaiteh (RIP), Alpha Khan (JP), and our own mum, aunty, and grandma, Madam Sukai Secka Sagna
Join us in congratulating her and honoring every teacher, mentor, and parent who walked this journey. CJMA continues to raise leaders. 🇬🇲
