Doctor Neneh Silla of Jamwelly village, West Coast Region of The Gambia. She is already known as Doctor Neneh Silla, she is presently attending Yunus English School as a 6 grader.

Upon successfully completed the visit to the Banjul International Airport, the National Assembly, the National Museum and the Gambia Ports Authority on Tuesday, the UBS students of Yunus English School crossed to the Noth Bank and spent the night at Essau Lower Basic School where they were highly welcomed by the Headteacher of the School. The team early morning of Wednesday continued the tour and visited the Fort Bullen where they have learned and interacted with the artifacts. The Students' were exposed to informations about the Europeans visit to the Gambia (the British in particular), the building of the fort and the reasons for the Barra War against the British and its effects on the people of Nuimi. From Fort Bullen, the students and their hardworking teachers proceeded to Albreda to have a close view of the Kunta Kinteh Island and gather valuable information about the establishment of the Island as a settlement for the British and how the Island was beneficial to them (the British) and the negative impact on Gambia and Africa.

Yunus English School and its teachers and non- teaching staff are working tirelessly to ensure a successful Examination for WASSCE candidates. Thanks to all our students and volunteering teachers who are sacrificing day and night teaching, guiding and monitoring students to ensure they come out with a Successful results.
The school has registered two hundred and seventy -five ( 275) candidates in this year WASSCE exam, from Arts, Commerce and Science departments. We are grateful and thankful to parents and gurdians, the community for their usual support . We are very hopeful for colorful results. Yunus English School is the best school for your children. The school operates in all levels from nursery ( Nursery 1-3),
Lower Basic ( Grade 1-6 ) Upper Basic ( Grade 7--9) and senior secondary school ( Grade 10-12) cannot be compared to many schools in the Gambia with well trained and qualified teachers from the university of The Gambia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Senegal and Nigeria.
The grade nine (9) exam will commence on the 19th July to 29th July, 2022. while NAT exam is scheduled for the 6th to 7th of July, 2022. Thank you for following our page.

Here is a heartfelt wish i so genuinely wish to reiterate... Let the success rate for at most 80% of our beloved Gambian students be over 75% featuring series of 9 credits in their GABECE and WASSCE exams in 2020/2021 academic year.

Thus, it shall emerge from a light of compassion, brightness and much passion for our ever distinct and collective dream of quality education.
