Today, the cohorts of the Children hub of BJ Academy were trained on public speaking & career selection. This will go a long way in boosting their presentation skills which is indispensable towards the growth of young intellectuals.

Today’s shooting of “my mom” was done by the 2nd cohort of the children hub BJ Academy. This piece is so touching and inspirational…..coming out soon!

Today the 2nd Cohort of Children Hub of BJ Academy began its first mentorship session. Basiru Jaye who is the founder put them through “Barriers to Success and how to overcome them” and Alimatou S. Bajinka who is a communication expert lectured them on “effective way of communication”.

Subsequently, they were task to identify “Self” barriers and how to overcome them.
We are here to shape the future of the younger generation for them to shoulder any obstacle that might come their ways.

One of our prominent members called Ousainou Gambia is currently attending the world climate Change conference UNFCCC Cop26 at Glasgow Scotland in UK🇬🇧. This high-level platform gives him the opportunity to share his challenges and success stories with world leaders, partners, and civil society movements across the globe. The conference also galvanises the role of young people in climate justice and climate action.

BJ Academy has conducted interview today after an intensive review of applications for the 2nd cohort Children Hub of BJ Academy Recruitment. The Panel Includes:

2. Njongi Tunkara
3. Mariama Camara
4. Amadou Wurry Jallow
5. Sulayman Njie
6. Abdou Karim Badjie

57 Children across the length and breadth of the Gambia have applied and 10 was initially agreed to be taken but upon shortlisting and competitive interviews, the panel agreed to select the top 25.

The selected ones will be undergoing intensive mentorship and Coaching programmes, featured on motivational videos and equally teach them to become their best version.

We congratulate and welcome the lucky ones and hard luck to those who were not selected.

BJ Academy motivates and inspires all generations.

Another Excellent results of GABECE from our products. Mariama Susso from Brufut Upper Basic School has bagged aggregate 8. We are proud of her and we wish you the best of luck.

Mentorship & Coaching Session:

The Children Hub of BJ Academy were put through practical knowledge on Career Development facilitated by Abdou Karim Badjie and Barriers to Success by Basiru Jaye.
It is important to come up with career planning as it gives you the much needed direction and makes it clear where you see yourself in future. It makes you aware of your strength and weaknesses and the skills and knowledge that are required to achieve your goals in future.
Thanks the National Youth Council for giving us the Youth Creative Lab to conduct the session.
