Drama performance by our own drama group under the title: No To Tribalism. This is meant to discourage tribalism and bring everyone together under one national umbrella "Gambia".

A leader is someone who helps improve the lives of other people or improve the system they live under.

Words can't explain how proud our staff felt today the 9th of March ,2019 as our young leaders set the pace again at the prestigious Women Leadership Summit held at the Seaview Hotel Senegambia.Ya Lisa is committed to developing young leaders who will actively participate in creating the future we all long for. ...And it was great at the Eco Tourism Fair held at Dalaba Lodge Gunjur on Saturday the 23rd of February,2019.The event was meant to assess the economic,environmental and socio-cultural impact of eco tourism in The Gambia.Two of our students Haddijatou Joof and Sailey Mbye were certified at the end of the event.

Today, National Youth Council - The Gambia in collaboration with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Senegal we are staging this event 👇

The Aim and Objective:

▪️ Bring actors in migration management together to interact and share experience.

▪️ Evaluate the extent of diaspora influence on migration.

▪️ Measure how the remittances is influencing youth rregular in The Gambia.

They were then identified again and interviewed by Debbie.

Catch them young and they will grow to become ambassadors of their nation.Students of Ya Lisa participated in the Mboka Conference.The organizers of the conference where Africans UK who are passionate to see Africa rise in prosperity.Because of the outstanding performance of the students during the events.They were given prizes .Kudos to our young leaders from Ya Lisa.Making impact all the way.

Sailey Mbye our young dynamic leader was awarded a Certificated at The West Coast Regional Youth Convergence 2018/2019 held at Mayork Senior Secondary School Fonni Bondali ,West Coast Region.The certificate was awarded to her for her unwavering performances all through the five days of the camping exercise.

Leaders are made not born. Nurturing the next generation of leaders.

And again! Our young leaders Mohammed Trawally and Sailey Mbye represented the school at the Coaches of Influence Annual Youth Summit organized by Coaches of Influence Foundation Texas USA.

Our student represented the school at the 4th edition of TAC Conference held at Labranda Hotel (former Sheraton Hotel)

Our students representing the school at First International Vegan Conference at the Kairaba Beach Hotel.The conference attracted great speakers such as: Hon Halifa Sallah,Dr Umah Johnson ,Dr Melani Stevenson and many others.And at the end the event ,they won prizes!!!
