Danes potrebuje pomoc Bubacarr, ki zivi z materjo in tremi sestrami ter dvema bratoma. Samo on in brat obiskujeta solo. Druzina je izgubila oceta in od takrat se soocajo z veliko financno stisko.

Da bi Bubacarr lahko nadaljeval solanje nujno potrebuje botra. Botrstvo znasa 20 evrov na mesec, izjemno dragoceno bo spremenilo njegovo zivljenje.

Bubacarr sicer obiskuje peti razred osnovne sole v New Yundum.

The bags was distributed to those who need it most.

Tokrat smo v Gambiji obdarili najmanj 300 učencev. Razdelili smo tudi okrog 60 šolskih torb, prejeli pa so jih tisti, ki jih najbolj potrebujejo, torej učenci z razpadajočimi torbami in pa tisti, ki torb sploh niso imeli. Veselje pa ni bilo nič manjše pri učencih, ki so prejeli zvezke, svinčnike, radirke, ravnila, barvice in silčke.

Kmalu se odpravljam v Gambijo in zbiram donacije za šolske potrebščine za otroke na osnovni šoli New Yundum. Lansko leto smo z zbranim denarjem kupili zvezke, radirke, svinčnike, šilčke, barvice… za vec kot 200 otrok.

Greetings to everyone out here who have keen interest about this page and of course those who actually participate or take part in making this project a success. Here comes another important important aspect of what the project benefitted from one good kind hearted volunteer who tirelessly with her help the project some fund to buy some stationery for the orphan children in my school and of course some other valuable teaching aids for the staff of the school.
This materials bought will help enhance learning and teaching of these children for a better education and will go a long way in helping them in their academic career.

Thanks for the support from our friends who also donated and for the sponsored orphans in our school. This is well appreciated by the kids and of course they were happy to receive their gifts.

Good day to all. Have nothing much to say but to thank my friends and partners in supporting my project to help these kids of over 100. They were supported with school stationery for their education to make their learning easier for them.

It is a sacred duty on us as we envisage a better and more educationally prosperous Yundum, with our ever supportive partners through the Chief Coordinator and his friends the in the Netherlands donated some learning items including stationery to needy children at the Primary School. Some other items were also donated to the school management.
This is a gesture that will go a long way in helping these children in their education.
However, more relentless support is needed to help these children as they shall some day be the ones to hold the reins of decision making in this country.
Share this post so that many may join the bandwagon in making education a must and easily accessible for children in Yundum and in doing so, support the community's development...

Thus, as we long for a better Yundum our partners through the Chief Coordinator Ousman Manjang and his friends the Family from Holland made donation of some learning items including stationary to needy and vulnerable families at the Primary School. Other items too were donated to the Lower Basic School management.

We still looking forward for more support from anyone to help support the educational needs for these vulnerable children as they are going to be the future leaders of tomorrow.

The pictures are a collection of photos taken on the 7th Nov, 2017 at the school premises of New Yundum Lower Basic School. They are the first set of targeted needy and underprivileged pupils under our sponsorship program that we intend to impact a lasting mark in their lives for posterity.
