Helping Hands for Young Children - Gambia

Greetings from the teachers and students after a successful end of first term of the school academic year in The Gambia 🇬🇲

The schools closes today 23rd of December, 2025 for the Christmas and New Year holidays and will resume or reopen 6th January, 2026 for the beginning of Second term of the academic year 2025 - 2026.

During this holidays period in Gambia, many kids will be joining their friends and Christian family to celebrate the Christmas and New Year together as these well serves memories to children as they grow.

We on behalf of the organization wish to use the opportunity to thank you for your efforts contributions in making a change in the life of most of the children especially those who are without their parents and of course some performing academic students.

Merry Christmas 🎄 and a happy New Year.

As a reminder, we are still open to anyone who is interested of been godparents.

Please do not hesitate to contact our partners in Slovenia for further information if you, your friend or a family member is interested to support a child's education.

Now the schools resume today 23rd September, 2024 from summer holidays in Gambia and kids are happy to be back in school after many weeks on vacations. Some missed to see their friends and classmates from school and it was exciting to meet them again after long weeks away.

The boy and his family needs support as he is first child in his family to be in an English school.

Danes potrebuje pomoc Bubacarr, ki zivi z materjo in tremi sestrami ter dvema bratoma. Samo on in brat obiskujeta solo. Druzina je izgubila oceta in od takrat se soocajo z veliko financno stisko.

Da bi Bubacarr lahko nadaljeval solanje nujno potrebuje botra. Botrstvo znasa 20 evrov na mesec, izjemno dragoceno bo spremenilo njegovo zivljenje.

Bubacarr sicer obiskuje peti razred osnovne sole v New Yundum.
