On the auspicious day of May 18th, 2024, the Young Mathematicians Association (YMA) embarked on an esteemed visit to Nusrat Senior Secondary School.

Mr. Ebrima Touray, the esteemed Adviser of the YMA, commenced the proceedings with an introduction of the association's esteemed executive members. He eloquently highlighted the paramount significance of the YMA, emphasizing its transformative impact on his own academic journey at the University of the Gambia.

Origins and Inspiration

Mr. Touray further disclosed the inspiring genesis of the YMA, founded by two exceptional Gambian citizens: Mr.Ebrima Bittaye and Mr. Babucarr Ceesay. These renowned individuals, currently pursuing doctoral degrees in Mathematics abroad, have also served as distinguished lecturers at the University of Gambia. Notably, Mr. Ebrima Bittaye himself was a former student of Nusrat Senior Secondary School.

Encouragement to Join the Fraternity
