Crab Island TVET Foundation Chairperson, Hon. Ousman Sillah, Centre Director, Matarr John, addressing the students of the Gambia Senior Secondary School (GSSS) on their first day of practical lessons in Carpentry or Woodwork at the Crab Island TVET Centre in Banjul on Thursday, 25 April, 2024. This development is part of the Foundation's Model for the Centre to serve as a hub and the MoU with MoBSE, to cater to mainstream schools in Banjul. The session was attended by the staff of the Centre and the GSSS Carpentry Teacher.

Ousman Sillah, Secretary General of the Sub-Saharan Africa Skills and Apprenticeship Stakeholders Network (SASASNET) and Chairperson Crab Island Technical and Vocational Education Training Foundation/Centre, delivering his address as the Guest Speaker at the passing out of the 14th Batch of Corps members of the Gambia National Youth Service Scheme (NYSS) on Wednesday, 3 July, 2024, at the Paradise Suites Hotel. The event was graced by Hon. Bakary Badjie, Minister of Youth and Sports, who delivered the keynote statement, and senior officials of the Ministry and satellite institutions.
