Ngayen Sanjal Son Secures Admission to the University of The Gambia, Seeks Scholarship Support

Bukary Gaye, a distinguished youth leader and Deputy Speaker at the National Youth Parliament The Gambia, has secured admission to The University of The Gambia (UTG) to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies for the 2025/2026 academic year. He is scheduled to report on February 23rd, 2026.

Due to financial constraints, Bukary is appealing for scholarship assistance to cover his annual tuition fee of D34,900 and additional mandatory fees of D1,200. He calls on philanthropists, institutions, government bodies, and partners to support his academic journey and future contribution to national development.

Celebrating Academic Excellence – 2025 🥳🥰

Another outstanding performance shines from Ngayen Sanjal Senior Secondary School.

Bukary Gaye, the outgoing Head Boy of the school, has achieved remarkable success in the recently concluded WASSCE examinations. Bukary secured 6 solid credits and 2 passes — a clear testament to his leadership, resilience, and dedication.

Balancing the demanding role of Head Boy while producing such results is no small feat. Beyond the classroom, Bukary serves as the National Youth Parliamentarian for Ngayen Sanjal District, where he is well-known for his commitment to advocacy and community development. He has consistently been at the forefront of youth-led programs in his district, setting an example for others to follow.

This academic success reflects not only his determination but also his unwavering will to excel higher in both leadership and academics.
