Our Peer Health Educators brought home trophies again.

In celebration of universal children's day, the Child Protection Alliance Gambia, CPA, organized interschools drama and poetry competition for both Junior and Senior categories. St Charles Upper Basic School was crowned the champions for both drama and poetry in the Junior category.

Final results for Upper Basic Schools in Region One

What a term!

Within 42 days, i.e. from Nov 17th to Dec 29th, St. Charles brought home multiple trophies.

Here is a recap:

- Nov 17th: St. Charles' Peer Health Educators (PHEs) won drama competition at Charles Fowlis Hall, qualifying for finals among 5 schools.
- Dec 15th: Red Cross team won drama competition at Rex Nursery School, Fajikunda. They went home with the trophy.
- Dec 16th: Our Peer Health Educators (PHEs) triumph in Ebunja Theatre finale, taking trophy, best actor & actress awards.
- Dec 29th: PHEs dominate CPA&CHE drama & poetry competition, taking both drama & poetry championships, and the best actress awards.

Congratulations to our drama team and the teacher coordinators.

The general manager of the credit union, CESSCU, and other personnels meet the staff of St. Charles LBS & UBS to talk to them about their credit union.

It was a successful PTA meeting.

If a school were a cooking pot, then parents, teachers and students would be the stands. All three are needed to keep it balanced.

It's the beginning of a new academic year with a new principal.

It's lovely to see the two schools - Lower and Upper - coming together to exchange gifts from secret friends.
