Abuko Home Red Link First ever cultural and talent day

Abuko Home Red Cross Link is set for its first ever Talent and Cultural day. The theme of the event is *"Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion through the Arts".*
The Talent and Culture day event will be an avenue for entertainment, learning, and networking, as people from different backgrounds will come together to celebrate cultural diversity and connect with one another, don't wait to be told. Come join us in reviving our beautiful 🥰 culture and promot talents.

AHRLV celebrates its SG for his victory

Abuko Home Red Cross Link Volunteers on Sunday, 17 September 2023, celebrate its Secretary General Momodou Gaye for his victory during its weekly meetings.

It could recalled Momodou Gaye was among the four volunteers who represented KM Red Cross Branch during the nation first aid championship 2.0 were KM came first.

As a link we are proud of your hard work and dedication. Your achievement is a testament to your skills and passion for first aid, and we are grateful to have you as a member of Abuko Home Red Cross Link. Keep up the excellent work, and we look forward to supporting you in future competitions. Once again, congratulations on your well-deserved victory!..

As part of it's annual activity, Abuko Home Red Cross successfully stage it's annual Iftar yesterday 15th April 2023, under the theme effect of drug to religion and society.

The event was witnessed by Ousman Saidybah, Public Relations Officer Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Omar Badjie Branch Officer, KM Red Cross Branch, Ebrima Corr Area Youth Rep Senior, Alkalo Ebrima Ceesay, volunteers within and from sister links among scores of other people from the community.

Thank you to our partners Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Child Protection Alliance, International Voluntary Mental Health Organization, Isatou Baldeh link sister, and every other person who contributed in cash or kind to the activity.

Another thanks to our founder and senior volunteer Sheikh Manneh for his tireless efforts in guiding and helping the link in all its activities.

Especial thanks to volunteers of the link for making the event a success. May Allah reward everyone's effort and support in this important crusade of serving humanity, everywhere to everyone. We remain, in the service of humanity.

Abuko Home Red Cross Link present it's annual iftar under the theme "effect of drug abuse and trafficking on religion and society".

The annual event give volunteers the opportunity to give out to humanity in this Holy month as a contribution to it's humanitarian gestures as a link under Kanifing Municipal Red Cross Branch of The Gambia Red Cross Society.

The theme for this year is chosen as it's an important issue worth discussing since drug is among Issues affecting societal development. We seize the opportunity to invite you all to this very important conference to national development.

KM RED CROSS BRANCH: GRCS VOLUNTEERS DAY CELEBRATION

Ahead of the GRCS Volunteers Day, the KM Red Branch Executive wishes to commemorate this year's GRCS Volunteers Day by gathering valuable materials from her volunteers and donating them to *Tanka Tanka*.

It's with the above-mentioned that we seek support from the volunteers within KM to help donate any of the following items
1. Clothes (used)
2. Sugar
3. Soap
4. Slippers
5. Body lotion
6. Cash (Money)

All donations should be forwarded to the Branch, Link Leaders or a person might contact any of the executive members for easy coordination.

All donations should be made before the *GRCS Volunteers Day* which is scheduled on Wednesday, 22nd February 2023.
