We are planning to build Ocean Club House in Sisimiut which is a community space for all people to learn ocean environment, marine science, industry, and Indigenous culture in Greenland.This project is funded by Qeqqata Kommunia.

Dive in Greenland's activity is now officially endorsed by UN Ocean Decade, Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO💙💙❤️❤️ Thank you so much for your all support!

🌊 102 new initiatives join the Ocean Decade movement!

A new wave of endorsed Decade Actions is accelerating ocean science, partnerships, and solutions on the road to 2030. With this latest round, the UN Ocean Decade, led by the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO, now counts 831 endorsed initiatives, making it the world’s largest coordinated effort in ocean science for sustainable development.

These 102 Actions will bring fresh momentum ahead of the 2027 Ocean Decade Conference in Rio de Janeiro, strengthening the bridge between science, policy, and society, and amplifying voices from underrepresented regions and groups.

Highlights from the newly endorsed Actions:

🔵 Actors from 42 countries - governments, IGOs, academia, the private sector & NGO- will deliver initiatives across all ocean basins.
🔵 10 new Projects will boost international scientific cooperation in the polar regions.
🔵 10 Projects across Africa and SIDS will tackle climate impacts, pollution, and overfishing.
🔵 24 Projects, co-sponsored with the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership, will advance a climate‑neutral, resilient and competitive ocean economy.

From marine restoration to ocean policy breakthroughs, Decade Actions continue to drive global progress, balancing conservation with sustainable use and helping move the world closer to protecting 30% of the ocean by 2030.

I am always amazed the ice formation in Greenland. They are artist in the nature. The ice art is different shape every year depends on the condition, which makes me surprise and entertain in scenery.
