The Public Health team and the Department of Education would like to hear from young people across Gibraltar.
You are invited to complete a short survey about how you spend your free time, what you enjoy doing, and what activities or opportunities you would like to see more of.
The survey is anonymous and should only take around five minutes to complete. There are no right or wrong answers. Your responses will help shape future activities and opportunities for young people in Gibraltar.
Thank you for taking part.

Westside at its best π
Today we were incredibly proud to open the first day of our publicly presented Year 7 PBL Exhibition: What will Gibraltar be like in 10 years, and what will your role be in making changes? ππ
We were honoured to welcome the Chief Minister, who spent over an hour with us, visiting exhibition stand after exhibition stand, speaking directly with pupils, asking thoughtful questions, and engaging with their ideas. He also took part in surveys with our LSF students, which was a very special moment for them. π
Our pupils were outstanding. They advocated for their ideas with confidence, maturity and real depth, explaining their research, sharing their proposed solutions, and responding thoughtfully to questions from visitors. π€β¨
We were also delighted to welcome Gastro Rob Lomax back to Westside, following his hugely popular Westside Talks presentation earlier this term. It was lovely for pupils to show him how his contribution had helped shape their thinking. π
A heartfelt thank you to our parents, invited guests, staff and pupils for making today such a success. The turnout was fantastic, the atmosphere was warm and uplifting, and the whole morning captured the very best of our school community. π
This was Westside at its best: creative, confident, inclusive and full of purpose. π

We are aware of reports circulating on social media about an incident in the vicinity of the school.
Please be reassured that all is calm and well on site. Pupils and staff are safe, and the school day is continuing as normal.

Celebrating Women in STEM π©βπ¬β¨
A huge well done to our Year 7 students who took part in our Women in STEM 2026 poster competition.
Students researched inspirational women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, creating thoughtful and informative posters to celebrate their achievements and impact. π§¬π‘
We were very impressed by the creativity, effort and pride shown in their work. Congratulations to our poster winners and to all students who took part. π
It is wonderful to see our young learners recognising the importance of representation in STEM and celebrating the women who continue to inspire future generations. π

Celebrating Neurodiversity at Westside! π§ β¨
Today, our students took part in the first of three fantastic neurodiversity talks led by the Educational Psychology Service during PSHE.
The session explored the important message that everyone is different π People may look different, sound different, enjoy different things, and have different strengths β and that is something to be celebrated! π
Our students were interested, engaged and asked lots of thoughtful questions throughout the session πββοΈπββοΈπ
Todayβs talk was attended by one third of the year group, with the remaining students taking part over the next two weeks.
A big thank you to the Educational Psychology Service for helping our students develop greater understanding, empathy and respect for neurodiversity π§ π¬β¨
