Loreto Convent School Gibraltar is a co-educational independent Junior School, Pre-School & Nursery for pupils aged 1 to 11.
In 1821 Mother Teresa Ball introduced the congregation of Ireland and named the first of many convents Loreto. When Bishop Hughes invited a religious order to establish a school for Catholic girls in Gibraltar in 1845, Mother Teresa accepted the offer. Our Year 1 children stepped back to the 18th century, experiencing how the laundry was carried out back in the olden days, using hand washing techniques, wooden pegs, and a metal iron. They all loved getting involved in this practical lesson.

Our Upper primary pupils had an amazing time competing in their internal PE athletics session at Lathbury Barracks last week, showcasing their skills in the 60m, 100m, 200m, and long jump!
