It was a blissful ceremony today St. Paul M**h Prep and Jhs-Winneba. We had our first ever graduation ceremony where we graduated 104 graduands from our various grades level. JHS and KG1.

SAINT PAUL METHODIST PREPARATORY AND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL HELD SUCCESSFUL STUDENT LEADERSHIP ELECTIONS

Saint Paul M**hodist Preparatory and Junior High School held its annual student leadership elections, a tradition that aims to instill democratic values and practices in its students. The election was deemed free and fair, with students from Class 4 to Junior High School 3 participating in the process.

In an interview, Head Mistress Madam Katena Acquah emphasized the importance of introducing democratic principles to the students, stating that "everyone has the freedom of choice and the right to vote." She believes that this experience will help students understand the correct way to acquire positions and desist from unlawful acts in future elections.

The students elected leaders for various positions, including Head School Prefect, Assistant Prefect, Sports Prefect, Protocol Prefect, ICT Prefect, and section leaders for the four houses: Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green...

Assistant Headmaster Eric Asare noted that this annual election commenced by the school is an opportunity to prepare students for future elections, as some will be eligible to vote in national elections soon. He also mentioned that the school had to invited the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) to provide guidance on the electoral process which is made the election free and fair as compare to the national one one.

Teacher Isaac Kwakye, representing the Electoral Commission (EC), highlighted the main purpose of the exercise as preparing pupils to learn about elections and their processes
