Indeed it is a great honor to be back on campus.
Like always, both national and campus happenings that concern us as students have come up, and we delve deep into it yet again.
So join us this Sunday, July 24 at 1:30pm as we dilate on these matters for the betterment of our country and ourselves.

The matters to be considered are;
Ghana's 18th imf bail-out and the way forward
Ghana Integrity of Public Services Survey; the prevalence of Bribery and Corruption.

Join us and you shall never leave the same.

The Students Legal Society wishes the entire UEW student body the BEST OF LUCK in our examinations.

It's our believe that we'll all perform to the best of our abilities. So that at the end, WE'LL ALL MEET IN OUR NUMBERS Next Semester to share in our our GRATEFULNESS for how far we have come.

Meanwhile, the Students Legal Society holds her LAST GENERAL MEETING on SUNDAY, MAY 29, 2022 at the SIMPA HALL MAIN JCRC-NORTH CAMPUS at exactly 2:00PM.

1. The Executive Council on behalf of the entire membership of Students Legal Society-UEW humbly write with much gratitude to appreciate the involvement and participation of all member of the university community who turned up at our Legal Seminar held on Sunday, May 15, 2022.

The Students Legal Society holds it's maiden edition of a series of Legal Seminars aimed at Systemically Enhancing the Judicial Framework of UEW.
Join us this Sunday, May 15 as we hold the seminar on the theme "BUILDING LEGALLY CONSCIOUS INDIVIDUALS TO STRENGTHEN STUDENTS ADMINISTRATIONS: THE ROLE OF STUDENTS LEGAL SOCIETY.

"Over 6000 students, representing about 8 per cent of the total student population of 85,276 at the KNUST have had to defer their courses in line with university regulations for non-payment of school fees" - Graphic Online reports on 20th April, 2022.

The Governing Council of UEW upon the approval of the 2022 budget statement by parliament, announced for the information of students and the general University community that:
- It is compulsory for all students to register for the relevant courses before being allowed to participate in examination/assessment/supervision. This vis-a-vis the extention of deadline for payment of fees will basically mean that those who are unable to pay the fees and unable to make a request to the Finance Officer will not be allowed to sit for the end of semester examination.

How different is the KNUST case from that of the UEW case?
Is a similar fate likely to befall students of IEW who are unable to settle the fees before the scheduled deadline?
Let's see and observe where the pendulum swings.
