"Our youth from the primary schools, through the secondary schools to the universities and higher institutions of learning, should and must be taught and trained in the socialist philosophy. They must be taught to know the working of neo-colonialism and trained to recognise it wherever it may rear its head. They must not only know the trappings of colonialism and imperialism, but they must also be able to smell out the hide-outs of neo-colonialism."

Has history done enough in pushing the country to the height of development she has to attain? Let the debate begin.

On a daily basis, we are becoming a country where greed is celebrated. We give men and women opportunity to serve and they steal from us.
We give men and women opportunity to preside over our health services, they acquire expired drugs and women die, and children die. We are accusing Adolf Hi**er of Holocaust. That is holocaust of another kind.
We are giving men and women to preside over our transport department. They take money, compromise the quality of our roads and then we say that that is not genocide. It is genocide.
And those men claim to be Christians.
We give men and women the opportunity to preside over our counties and our nurses are on strike for one month and our doctors are on strike for one month. And not the president, not the opposition leader, or any member of Parliament talks about it. And we celebrate them because of our ethnicity.
How can a country run that way? And we claim to be Christians. And we are so corrupt. We are destroying the next generation.

Let's use this opportunity to get ourselves abreast with the 'basic' human rights and responsibilities enshrined in the 1992 constitution.
Again, it is an opportunity to either begin or continue the discussion on the flaws and strengths contained in the Constitution.
Greetings to all.

Guys what is your take on this:
the government as part of the 60th independence anniversary has set 4th August,2017 as the country's birthday. It is borne out of the fact that, the UGCC was formed particularly on that day/date; though it must be acknowledged for the start of the independence struggle
Now the question is, is the government really doing the right thing or mere formality to satisfy the interest of party patriots-Danquah-Busia's
