Commemoration of African Union Day – Monday, 26th May 2025

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are excited to inform you that on Monday, 26th May 2025, our school will commemorate African Union Day, a celebration of Africa’s rich cultural heritage and unity. To mark this special occasion, students are encouraged to wear traditional attire or clothing made from African prints (smock, ankara, kitenge, kente, etc.) to school.

Please note that regular classes will proceed as scheduled, and students are required to bring all necessary books and materials for lessons indicated on their timetable. This will ensure continuity in learning while allowing us to honour Africa’s vibrant diversity.

We kindly urge your support in ensuring your child adheres to the dress code and comes prepared for classes. This day promises to be both educational and culturally enriching, fostering pride in our shared heritage.
