Oakwood school is a school that believes in every child's ability. We also believe and teach each and every child not to say 'I can't , but to try, try and try again. Our mission is to be the most preferred school in Tema and its environs as we provide World class education and child care. Our preschool department is essentially unique, very different from most schools. It is run as a programme, that spans four years. Children begin the programme as early as two years, engaged in diverse activities for their holistic development in life. By age five, these little oaks are reading words like scram, cramps, scratch, chap, bell, will.....etc
Our reading programme is the easiest and best, as it challenges the child to attempt reading all kinds of words to perfection (not as a recital or as keywords). Our continued reading programme into the primary years, enables the children to love reading, it also fosters in them a thirst for knowledge and inculcates in them a love for learning. Fathers are rarely celebrated properly on Fathers' day. This year, Oakwood Community School is taking it personally to hangout with our dads. We'll be spending some time with them, having fun games and competitions. There'll also be a health talk on Stress Management and Lifestyle diseases. We sincerely appreciate all your hard work and commitment to nurturing the next generation of adults. God bless all fathers!!!!!
