To find all the notes in every key, you need to understand the structure of the major scale. The major scale consists of seven different notes, and each key has its own set of these notes. The pattern to determine the notes in a major scale is as follows:

Formula: Tone, Tone, Semitone , Tone ,Tone, Tone ,Semitone.

Where Tone means move over one note or key, and
Semitone means the next key.

1. Start with the root note (the note that gives the key its name).
2.
3. Move up a whole step (two semitones) from the root to find the second note.
4.
5. Move up another whole step to find the third note.
6.
7. Move up a half step (one semitone) to find the fourth note.
8.
9. Move up a whole step to find the fifth note.
10.
11. Move up a whole step to find the sixth note.
12.
13. Finally, move up another whole step to find the seventh note.

Using this pattern, here are the notes in each key:

• Key of C: C, D, E, F, G, A, B

• Key of C #: C #, D #, E #, F #, G #, A #, B #

• Key of D: D, E, F #, G, A, B, C #

• Key of D #: D #, F, G, G #, A #, C, D

• Key of E: E, F #, G #, A, B, C #, D #

• Key of F: F, G, A, A #, C, D, E

• Key of F #: F #, G #, A #, B, C #, D #, E #

• Key of G: G, A, B, C, D, E, F #

• Key of G #: G #, A #, B #, C #, D #, F, G
