The Students’ Representative Council of the University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (USTED) will hold its 2026 State of the SRC Address (SOSA) on Saturday, 8th August 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the New Auditorium.

The address will be delivered by the SRC President, H.E. Joachim Dzimesah, who will present an overview of the Council’s activities, achievements, ongoing initiatives, challenges, and key developments during the administration.

The event will also provide students with an opportunity to gain insight into the work of the SRC and its commitment to student welfare, accountability, and development.

📢 No More Long Queues: EC and SRC Enhance E-Voting Infrastructure

In a significant step toward improving the electoral process, the Electoral Commission (EC), in collaboration with the Students' Representative Council (SRC), has successfully expanded the number of voting access points for the electronic voting (e-voting) system.

This enhancement is designed to improve connectivity, increase voting capacity, and allow more students to cast their votes simultaneously. The initiative is expected to significantly reduce waiting times, minimize long queues, and ensure a smoother, faster, and more convenient voting experience for all students.

By strengthening the e-voting infrastructure, the EC and SRC reaffirm their commitment to delivering a credible, efficient, and student-friendly electoral process.

Students are encouraged to take advantage of the improved system and actively participate in the upcoming elections by exercising their democratic right to vote.
