On Wednesday, February 25th, 2026, the school organized an educational excursion to three prominent traditional historical sites—Naa Dataa Tua, Adibo, and the Gbewaa Palace—in the Northern Region of Ghana.
The primary objective of this visit was to pay homage to the Overlord of Dagbog and to provide our students with an experiential understanding of some of the traditions and culture associated with their study of the Ghanaian language, Dagbani.
The trip proved to be both enlightening and enjoyable.
The management, parents, and students wish to take this opportunity to express their gratitude to the Overlord of Dagbog, Mion Naa Adibo Naa, and all sub-chiefs of these traditional areas for their warm reception and the valuable education they have imparted to us. May the Almighty strengthen their reign and influence.
In our modest contribution to support the Naa Gbewaa Palace Building Project, the school donated bags of cement and a monetary donation.
We also want to say a big thank you to Zaa Multimedia for being part of the journey.

On Friday, January 29th, 2026, we conducted a "Thank You" ceremony in honor of one of our founding partners, Murielle Bosch, and her family. This individual has been instrumental in the establishment and development of the David Abdulai Memorial School since its inception. The evident joy and excitement on their faces conveyed profound sentiment to us as an educational institution. Murielle Bosch was visibly pleased to witness the growth of the seed she planted several years ago into a flourishing tree. Once again, the DAMS Community extends its gratitude to Murielle Bosch and her family for their unwavering belief in the vision and mission of DAMS, as well as for their considerable commitment over the years. We earnestly pray that, even in her advanced age, the Lord continues to preserve her health and safety for many years to come.

APPRECIATION

To the glory of God, yesterday, December 17, 2025, marked the successful conclusion of the first academic season of the 2025/26 academic year, and we are truly grateful for this achievement. Together as a community, we have learned, grown, and succeeded.

The David Abdulai Memorial School (DAMS) was founded by the late Dr. David Abdulai Fuseini, also known as Dr. Choggu, in 2017.

APPRECIATION

On Saturday, October 11th, 2025, we celebrated a significant milestone in the history of our school, the David Abdulai Memorial School, with the commissioning of our new building. This event was marked by feelings of gratitude, hope, and a sense of responsibility.

As a community, we see this new building as more than just a physical structure; it represents a beacon of learning and growth that will help develop talents and aspirations.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our generous donors: Africa Youth Education (AYE), the Ghana Development Foundation (GDF), and Pippa's Health Centre Ltd. for their invaluable contributions to this project. REMEMBERING OUR HERO - DR. CHOGGU

On October 2nd, nine years ago, a star that guided many through dark times fell. We are referring to no other than Dr. David Abdulai Fuseini, whose legacy echoes with courage and inspires endless hope in many. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on through generations, as they will remember a man who heard the cries and felt the struggles of the poor and destitute in our society.

As we commemorate the passing of Dr. David Abdulai Fuseini into eternity today, his final words continue to strengthen our hearts:
"I believe I have lived a worthy life, and death is no threat to me. I ask that my death be celebrated, not mourned. I am thankful for what God has allowed me to accomplish, and I am ready when He calls."
