Teachers at Yumba School had another ICT training session today. This time the training was focused around how to use Social Media and use an e-mail account effectively. A massive thanks to International volunteers for running the session!
Here is a wonderful video of the students at Yumba School dancing before the Community Sensitisation in Dohinayili. All of the students were on their best behavior and made it impossible for the community to have any negative perceptions of their intellectual disabilities. We are so proud of our students! Yumba= Love Them.

The International Service Ghana volunteers working on the Yumba Project teamed with the Resource Center and ran a Teacher Training Workshop; training and educating teachers from mainstream schools in and around Tamale on Intellectual and Physical disabilities. The teacher training workshop included information on how to identify a student with a disability, how to adapt their teaching to cater for the students needs and general information on both types of disabilities. 29 teachers attended and overall the day was a massive success. Thank you to everyone who attended and made the day run so brilliantly.
