Well, there you have it, the Kick Tamale is done and dusted, and what an event it was!
Thank you to all who joined us for this inaugural event. The event was a great success and we were delighted to welcome such a great group of entrepreneurs.

This past weekend we have found that that famous Nike slogan –Just Do It- might apply to launching companies even more than it does to accomplishing athletic feats.

A few months ago, KickStart, didn’t have a name or a structure, it was just a very persistent idea our minds but now we see a just the beginning of creating a highly active and connected community for like-minded entrepreneurs who want to think differently.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to our great speakers – Mr.Senyo Kpelly. He was truly inspirational and gave participants the practical perspectives to life in the startup world.

KickStart Tamale would not have been possible without our mentors! To all the mentors who have shared their advice and best practices with the boot camp participants this weekend, thank you so much. The follow list is by no means complete: Kwesi Selasie(Founder-Freshplates Farms), Steven Agbenyo(Founder-SavSign), Anthony Selasie( Financial Analyst-AGDEVCO), Jon Harley( Business Development Services for Africa), Hamdiyah Ishmaila ( Founder-Century Incubator), Kamal Yakub (Founder-Farmable).

We’d be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge the huge impact of our local sponsors have had on the organization. Thank you to Voltic, Coca Cola, Nestle, Luxury Restaurant and Vodafone Ghana for the support.

Here are some pictures from the event.
