Savannah International Academy Savannah International Academy (SIA) is a private co-educational institution of international standard, located in Tamale, in the Northern Region of Ghana.

Savannah International Academy (SIA) is a private co-educational institution of international standard, offering the international curriculum – IGCSE & A Levels. Located in Tamale, in Northern Ghana, SIA is due to start admitting students for the 2018/19 academic year. This institution is currently a day school facility but will soon become an international boarding facility with a unique mission

to not only become a centre of academic excellence but to provide purposeful education that will shape and grow future leaders. Our overarching objective is to develop to the fullest, the potential of each student within a multicultural, multi-faith and international setting. The concept of SIA was borne from the recognition of the current educational gap between the northern regions of Ghana (Upper West, Upper East and Northern Regions) and the southern part of the country. Primarily established as an attempt to bridge the glaring gap between the standard of educational provision in the north and south, SIA is an important driver of the development agenda for the northern part of Ghana and the country as a whole. OUR MISSION:

• Establish a co-educational institution of international standard that provides quality and holistic learner-centred education with academic excellence
• Apply effective, modern, innovative and creative methodologies and curriculum to provide lifelong learning, leadership, innovation and entrepreneurial skills;
• Establish a cooperative partnership with students, staff, parents and community to equip our students with the skills to adapt to a fast changing and challenging global setting. OUR VISION:

To be a centre of academic excellence that provides relevant education in order to develop global citizens who are mindful of their responsibility to Self and Society.

They explored how volcanoes work, got hands-on with the materials, and had so much fun watching science come to life! 🙌

Learning Beyond the Classroom!

Our Summer School students had an exciting, fun-filled, and educative adventure at Maltiti Enterprise and Elites Game Hub!

At the Maltiti Sheabutter Processing Center, students got a hands-on look at how Shea nuts are transformed into everyday essentials — from raw nuts to finished products like Sheabutter, soap, and more!

Then it was game time at Elites Game Hub, where the fun took off (literally!) with Flight Simulation, Driving games, sports action like Volleyball, and traditional favorites like Owari!

From discovering new ideas and gaining practical knowledge to enjoying thrilling games and creating unforgettable memories, it was a trip packed with learning, laughter, teamwork, and adventure!

Because the best lessons aren't always found in a classroom!
