Read Mr. Bapio Ibrahim ’s story below

I met one of our Northern Light Int'l School, Tamale students, MUNA, at STC station Friday ago. She signed "Good morning sir" and asked if I remembered her 😂 She was going to Accra too.

Best part? She made her dad sign "Good morning" as well 😂😂 People were staring out of curiosity.

And guess what l, our seats were 9 and 10. We sat together the whole trip. She was so happy.

What made me even happier was that she interpreted anything the driver said for me.
For example, she signed: The driver said to let them know what we need. We will stop at KINTAMPO and LINDA DOR.

Her sister was sitting with their mother watching us. She loves sign language too. I asked which school she attends and Muna said GREATER HEIGHTS SCHOOL. I told her, "Sorry, we haven’t started sign language there yet."

Their hands were just getting started.

For Heritage Day 2026, our theme was “Celebrating Our Heritage, Preserving Our Identity”.

Our Sign Language Club students wanted to represent every region in Ghana. And even our international students wanted to sign their own cultures too.

But time was short. So we chose 3: Northern Region, Ashanti Region, and Upper East.

Watch them sign AND speak their tribe’s history at the same time. No interpreter. Just confidence, pride, and inclusion.

Imagine what happens when we give them more time. More regions. More voices. More hands telling Ghana’s story.

This is why sign language belongs in every school. Because when children learn to express themselves in every language, no one gets left out.

Schools & Parents, Want your students to experience this? Message us on 0245124671 (WhatsApp & SMS only) 0548527226 (voice calls) “SIGN WITH US” and let’s bring the Sign Language Club to you.

Full video coming next. You will be amazed at what they can do.

This Father’s Day, we celebrate the “hands that guide, protect, and love.”
Dads, your hands speak volumes. Imagine how much louder they become when they speak sign language ( ) too.
Learning sign language breaks barriers, builds inclusion, and lets every child, Deaf or hearing, feel truly seen and heard.

Our Active Sign Language Training center students don’t just learn history… they speak it with their hands. 💬✋
Watch them share their tribe’s story through Ghanaian Sign Language. Every movement is pride, culture, and voice.

Sign language isn’t “extra”. It’s a LANGUAGE. It’s INCLUSION. It’s OPPORTUNITY.

To parents this is the confidence we build in our kids.
To private schools let’s talk. We can help you introduce Sign Language into your school so every child learns to communicate, connect, and include.
